Every app in this category collects reviews competently. What separates them is what you can do with the result on the product page, which is the only part that affects revenue.
The options
Judge.me — the value choice and genuinely good. Unlimited requests on inexpensive plans, light widgets, reasonable customisation. Right for most brands.
Okendo — the considered choice where reviews are a core asset. Attribute ratings (fit, shade, skin type), strong media collection, useful segmentation. Earns its price when your category has one dominant objection.
Yotpo — the suite. Reviews plus loyalty plus SMS. Compelling for vendor consolidation, heavier on the page.
Loox — photo-led, popular with brands where the product is visual. Simple and effective at what it does.
Stamped — mid-market, broad feature set, frequently cheaper than Okendo for similar capability.
| Strength | Trade-off | |
|---|---|---|
| Judge.me | Price, speed | Fewer structured attributes |
| Okendo | Attribute ratings, data | Costs more |
| Yotpo | One vendor for several jobs | Page weight |
| Loox | Photo reviews | Narrower |
| Stamped | Value for features | Less polished |
What decides whether reviews work
The rating sits beside the price. Not at the bottom of the page. Hesitation happens at the buy button.
The count is specific. "4.9 from 4,105 verified reviews" is checkable. Stars alone are decoration.
Reviews answer the objection. Fit in fashion, time-to-result in skincare, safety in pet. Attribute ratings exist for this and it is where the pricier apps justify themselves.
They are visible on mobile. Most review sections sit four screens down on a phone.
Reviews apps are among the heaviest scripts on a typical store. If yours loads the full platform on every page including the homepage, you are paying speed for nothing.
Talk it through

We will tell you whether the app, the placement or the content of the reviews is the thing holding it back.
