Industries
Industries we
know cold.
Six years of ecommerce work has given us deep pattern knowledge in the categories we serve — the conversion quirks, compliance needs, and buyer psychology specific to each. Pick your industry; we’ve likely shipped in it.
Why category matters
The platform is the same. The decision is not.
Shopify works the same way for everyone. What changes between categories is the question a buyer is trying to answer before they commit, and that is what a product page either resolves or does not.
- Supplements and wellness
- The objection is time-to-result and what is actually in it. Pages win on substantiation and an honest timeline — a customer who expected two weeks cancels in week three of an eight-week product.
- Skincare and beauty
- Concern-led rather than product-led. People arrive with a problem, not a product type, and a page organised by SKU makes them do the translation themselves.
- Fashion and apparel
- Fit is the whole game, and return rate is the real metric. A page that lifts add-to-cart and raises returns has moved cost rather than revenue.
- Pet
- The buyer is not the user. The owner cannot ask the animal whether it worked, so the page has to substitute evidence for feedback.
- Food and drink
- Repeat purchase carries the economics and margins are thin. Subscription interval matched to actual consumption matters more than any single-order conversion gain.
- Mattress and sleep
- High consideration, long decision window, few pages that matter. Risk reversal does the selling, and in-session conversion is the wrong thing to measure.
